Women's Leadership Council

The Women's Leadership Council (WLC) is a leadership giving network engaging a diverse group of philanthropic women.
Nationally, United Way Women's Leadership Councils raised over $105 million last year with more than 40,000 women participating at 125 United Ways across the country. United Way of Greater Kansas City is the proud
home of the 126th WLC Chapter.
Locally, this powerful leadership network develops and inspires generations of women philanthropists for the overall good of the Kansas City community through support of United Way's Community Impact Agenda. Members expand upon United Way's unique ability to bring the time, talents and treasures of all women together to make a bigger impact on our community.
WLC members are committed to not only strengthening our community, but also themselves. WLC membership:
- Provides eligibility for participation in a philanthropic mentoring program unique to the WLC
- Connects you to other women of similar philanthropic interests at networking and social events
- Empowers you to be a catalyst for change
Join us and become part of a network of like-minded women who care deeply about the Kansas City community.
