Endow Your Annual Gift
Endowing your annual gift is a wonderful way to continue your current level of giving past your lifetime to impact generations in perpetuity. In twenty or fifty years, we cannot predict what the critical issues will be in Kansas City. By endowing your gift, you can ensure that United Way will utilize these funds where they are needed most.
Your gift will continue to impact the community annually. For example, if your current donation is $1,200 per year, a $24,000 gift in your will or estate plan at a 5% annual investment return will endow your gift at your $1,200 level perpetually – you could be a leadership level donor forever! The following chart can assist you in determining the right amount to leave to United Way of Greater Kansas City to endow your annual gift.

When you endow your annual gift, you will be listed in both the local and national Legacy Society Recognition Books in perpetuity. If your endowed gift returns over $10,000 annually, you will also be recognized as a Tocqueville Legacy Donor.
