Holiday Giving and Volunteer Guide

Thank you for your interest in living united in our community during the 2009 holiday season. The Holiday Giving and Volunteering Guide is a project of the United Way of Greater Kansas City Volunteer Center. It is a compilation of responses to holiday needs surveys mailed to over 1,100 nonprofit agencies and organizations in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

The holiday guide is divided into five sections: adoption listings, meal volunteer opportunities, other volunteer opportunities, donation lists A-J and donation lists K-Z. Each section is in alphabetic order by agency name.

The 2010 Holiday Guide is updated on an ongoing basis throughout the holiday season, so please check back frequently. Be sure to mention to the organization that you learned about their holiday needs on United Way of Greater Kansas City’s website.
